Angle grinder features independent housing and brush cut-off to protect the armature from damage by worn-out brushes and increase the life of the motor. Shielded stator windings and abrasion protection also extend motor life, whilst the spring-design brush support increases the life of the brushes. Other features include a ball-bearing mechanism to improve efficiency and prolong service life, and a low-profile gearbox allowing access to tight spaces. Soft start reduces tool movement when starting, for better control. No-load speed of 6600rpm and 125mm disc diameter.
